March 10, 1948 - April 7, 2024

It is with unbelievable sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Charles Elliott on April 7th, 2024 at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock with wife Patricia (Pat) by his side. He and twin brother James (Jim) were born on March 10, 1948 at Vancouver General Hospital and were raised in the family home in Kerrisdale.

He began his lifelong working career as a young teenager in the family business with his father and brother at R.J. Elliott Limited. With marriage to Pat in 1969 the move was made to the first home he helped build in South Surrey.

There was where he raised his two sons, Ryan and Aaron for the next 30 years, followed by a move to a beautiful ocean view home he also helped build in White Rock. After 12 years the move was made back to South Surrey where he enjoyed his retirement years.

Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years Pat, his two sons, Ryan and Aaron (wife Sharayah), and beloved grandchildren Kara, Lilly, and Logan. Also survived by twin brother Jim and Carol and family, his sister Jane and family, as well as other extended family members. Also, very special to him were close family members Christine, Alex and Sean.

In younger years Bob enjoyed going out on local lakes in family motorboats and waterskiing with friends. With mid-life crisis he decided to buy a motorcycle and enjoyed wonderful rides with the group. He also enjoyed road trips in his Corvettes. One of his most enjoyable times spent in the past 30 years was on the ice, curling with many different people and teams. He also loved spending time at Black Mountain Ranch in our recreational R.V. As well as travelling to many places in our travel R.V.

A Celebration of Bob's Life will take place at Peace Arch Curling Club, 1475 Anderson St, White Rock, B.C. in the upstairs lounge on May 18, 2024 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers if you wish, it would be greatly appreciated that you donate to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
