I saw the White Rock Players’ dramatic production on the second night of its current three-week run.
Proof is one of the best plays I have seen over the last several years here in White Rock. In fact, it is one of the best plays I have ever seen anywhere.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning script by David Auburn tackled serious issues with intelligence, wit and humour. The four actors immediately drew their audience into the story and captivated us, as each character was challenged by major life transitions impacting their relationships with each other.
My thanks to everyone involved in bringing this wonderful production of Proof to our community.
My advice to everyone else is to go see it. You will come home talking about it.
We are so fortunate to have a strong arts tradition in our community – theatre, concerts, art exhibits, festivals – all helping to make the Semiahmoo Peninsula a delightful place to live.
