Emergency crews responded to the parking lot of White Rock’s Central Plaza Thursday following a late-morning collision.

According to White Rock RCMP Staff Sgt. Rob Dixon, the roll-over incident – which occurred around 11:30 a.m. – involved a white Hyundai Tuscon and an Acura.
It’s not clear exactly how it transpired, however, “it could have been a case of accidentally stepping on the gas instead of the brake,” Dixon said.
The Tuscon came to rest on its passenger side, near the northeast side of the lot.
Dixon said two people were taken to hospital “as a precaution.”
